CRAWFORD COUNTY LAND REUTILIZATION CORPORATION MINUTES May 21, 2025

Call to Order: Chairperson Cindy Edwards 3:07 PM. 

Members Present: Jennifer Kuns, Cindy Edwards, Barb McCullough, Tim Ley, Larry Schmidt. 

Guest: James Cady. 

Motion to approve minutes 4/24/25 meeting: Tim Ley, Second Larry Schmidt Voted and passed. 

Motion to accept Financial report: Jennifer Kuns, second: Tim Ley Voted and passed. 

Motion to approve bills for payment: Cindy Edwards, second Jennifer Kuns Voted and passed. 

Bank reconciliation read and signed by members. 

Old/unfinished business: Motion to approve Rinehart Walters Ohio Plan as liability insurance carrier for the Landbank. Larry Schmidt, second: Tim Ley. 

Poe Rd. property: GMC estimated demo at $20,000 Motion is tabled for next meeting. 

636 S. Center in New Washington: phase 1 EPA testing in progress (slow) Auditors sale in September. 

710 Clay St. Galion: Phase 1 EPA testing is completed. 

Jess Fab Galion: Phase 1 EPA testing completed and cleanup is underway. 

New Business: Motion to approve the annual financial statement prepared by Julian and Grube: Jennifer Kuns, second Tim Ley Voted and passed. 

Motion to approve Ron Huff as end user for 551 S. Union: Tim Ley, second Larry Schmidt Voted and passed. 

504 S. Union was discussed : A 24 X 296 Ft. parcel in Galion, No decision, will have further talks with Eric Baldinger at the June 25 meeting. 

The next meeting: June 25, 2025 at 3 PM Commissioners Conference Room.
