Crawford County Land Reutilization Corporation minutes January 22, 2020
Chairwoman Cindy Edwards called the meeting to order at 3pm.
Present were; Cindy Edwards, Barb McCullough, Jennifer Kuns, Bob Johnston, Kevin Myers, Jeff Reser, Tim Ley, Doug Weisenauer and Landyn Hill.
There were no guests present.
The minutes from the November 20, 2019 meeting was distributed for review. Keven Myers moved with a second by Bob Johnston to accept the minutes, motion passed.
The financial report was distributed for review for both the November report and the up to date January report. Keven Myers moved to approve both reports with a second by Bob Johnston, motion passed.
The Budget for 2020 was presented for review. Kevin Myers moved with a second by Bob Johnston to approve the budget for 2020, motion passed.
The bills to be paid was presented. Jennifer Kuns moved with a second by Tim Ley to approve the bills for payment. Motion passed.
The Bank reconciliation report was distributed for board member signature.
The State audit will be conducted by Julian and Grube. The Audit will be conducted over the next few months.
A resident from the Chatfield area has submitted an offer on the property at 1940 New Washington Road. Doug Weisenauer moved with a second by Jennifer Kuns to accept the offer of $1,000.00 with a contract that the cleanup be completed in 6 months, motion passed.
Manager Barb McCullough reported the end of program reports are due March 1, 2020.
Doug Weisenauer moved with a second by Bob Johnston to rescind his motion from the November 20, 2019 meeting transferring the 303 West Galen St. property to the City of Bucyrus. No action has been done on the transfer yet so the property would remain in possession of the Land Bank. Motion passed. Several applications have been received for the property and the City will consider other options at this time. Keven Myers moved with a second by Jennifer Kuns to seek an appraisal on the property, motion passed.
Jeff Reser moved with a second by Bob Johnston to retain the same Land Bank officers for one additional year. Motion passed.
An abandoned gas station in New Washington was discussed. It was requested that Mayor Ben Lash come to the next meeting to discuss the project. G.T. Environmental is requesting to complete the cleanup project.
Jennifer Kuns moved with a second by Tim Ley to adjourn, motion passed. Next meeting will be February 26, 2020
